Is there a way that we can have the Policy and Procedure Manual as an E-Manual, this would save a lot of ink, paper, and less use of the printer which would save money in the shops budget. We always seem to have these updates to print, wouldnt it be much more cost effective to just add any update via e-mail.

Why are we still using the plastic bags at all of the National Scout Shops for merchandise sold in the stores. Can't the N.D.C. have some canvas bags made to sale to our customers at $0.99ea? We could even have our 2010 logo put on them.

Re-usable Green Bags are now available! All National Scout Shops and participating distributors have them in stock. These bags were introduced at the Top Hands meeting in Detroit in August and pushed to the Scout Shops that same week.

The Webelos program was a one year program not so long ago,I found it to work real well. The problem that I have been seeing is that the leaders aren't running the program as it was desinged by National,Read the Cub Leader Handbook. What happens is that the leaders don't award to the boys there advancment when it was earned, they hold off so the rest of the boys in the den can catch up with them, then award all of the boys in the den at once at the Pack meeting. They also do the same when it's time to bridge to a Troop, they hold the entire den then bridge them all at once.I found that if you bridge the boys as they earn the Arrow of Light, or age out that the boy responds better to the transition into the Troop. You will see that the boys grow a lot faster bridging as they earn it.
