our council gets several requests a week (up to several a day at times) for a "complete list of all training in our unit." and currently this is only able to be accomplished by going in to each adult in the unit individually.

We don't want we NEED a report that acts like the Unit Advancement Detail report that will list the adult and then all trainings and awards given.

When we ask region or national reps or the help desk we are told to use the training completed / not completed report which has known flaws and isn't being fixed. also it only lists the basic level training and nothing advanced.
I don’t think it is a good security item that passwords are needed to be given to anyone from the end-user for their assistance when there is a problem, the computer security community (outside of scouting) has spent years telling users that they should never have to give out their passwords. However I have been told (by the help desk) that we have a system that for them to be helped requires us to ask for a password. We are trying to instill confidence in our security procedures for personal information and then have a policy such as this? For good security the Help Desk and/or the person at the local council should not have to ask for a password from a volunteer for trouble shooting an online service center (Internet Advancement, Internet Recharter) issue.
There should be a standardized process for ordering BIN items as well as a comprehensive list of all BIN items available to be ordered in order to facilitate easier ordering for councils.

Let's not forget that the growing user base that doesn't use Internet Explorer as a browser rathar they use a Mozzilla base (Safari, Firefox) which doesn't interact well with our Volunteers as we encourage them to do more and more online when our systems aren't a compatable with what is the real world.

We're sticking ourselves as an organization in a spot when we want all recharting on-line and all advancements to be entered online, commissioners to utilize on-visit tracking system, leaders to do training on-line. But they can't use it when they try in a Non-Internet Explorer Environment and the functionality of it isn't how they are told.
