Some Retired Professional Scouters/Retired Scout Executives could be key to helping mitigate issues. Various non-profits and corporations gain the institutional wisdom and skills sets of their successful retirees for projects noted above.
I respect the new uniform, and our uniform tradition. Thoughtful consideration to offering additional uniform options designed by and offered by companies who today's youth find fun to wear should be made. There's a reason why kids want to wear UnderArmour, Nike, etc... Those would be cool and fun uniforms. In summary, having several uniform choices is a good thing. Then let the market decide.
