I can't believe that in this day and age we dont have all the training manuals in PDF format available online for the professionals, They have to be in electronic format somewhere since they are printed. We should be making it easier for professionals to have access to all the latest up to date information thats out there.

Has there even been a study done that tracks the incidence of divorce amongst professional scouters, as well as one done to track the incidence of mental illness amongst the professionals (i.e. depression, anxiety etc) Perhaps a study such as this could be key in developing new ways to combat these things.

Facebook could potentially be a good recruitment tool, while Myscouting is great, its only open to registered scouters.

I find it hard to belive that newspaper office's are refusing tours due 9/11, I used to work in the newspaper industry and we always welcomed the commuity into our newsroom.

The second sheet has been a huge pain, people miss it even when you tell them and show them where it is. Heck, its sometimes a struggle to get them to sign the regular app and get all the required signatures. What this is resulting is youth applications being held up because someone missed a signature. This was a huge mistake putting this on the app.
