Centennial Uniform Pants

I love the new uniform, however the new pants/shorts need a few extra belt loops in the back. The pants are a little awkward and definitely need the extra support, especially for "action wear".

I am following up on the below innovation engine callout.
For our smaller sizes, we have 5 belt loops total.
We previously added 2 additional belt loops, for a total of 7, on sizes 40 and up for additional support.
I researched similar industry action, outdoor wear pants and we are in line.
Thank you for the callout but there will be no further action at this time.
Thank you.

We would like to gather more feedback and based on the response, discuss options in regards to adding more belt loops for smaller sizes.

I feel just the opposite about the uniform especially the pants. They have too much velcro. Try opening a pocket with 2 fingers (holding someting with the same hand). You can't put your hand let alone two hands in your pockets at the same time without cutting your hip in half with the steel-like ring across the crotch.

Why are we trying to scare away our hispanic population by making us look the Immigration Service. I cannot recruit hispanics with this new look. I have been told this by them. We scare them. They don't trust us simply by how we look. Lose the side pockets. (too militaristic)!

I agree on the pants and the loops, I added my own loops from fabric that was the left overs from the hemming of the pant legs, and it works with the new belt, I also added tails and tips to the new shirt since they didnt come with them, now I can raise my arms and not worry about the shirt coming untucked.

I love the look, the fit in the hip area is not great but all the other comfort features over ride that. I just wish that they come in a shorter length as some of us are sewing challenged and having to cut off half a leg before hemming is a daunting task!

Yes, at least two more belt loops in the back. A lack of belt loops can really reduce the perceived quality of pants. In my mind its like the new home with a mediocre bathroom.

However, the new canvas pants are the best general scout uniform pants that I have worn to date. I have worn the old straight slacks and shorts, the switchbacks and all have the problem of not being a loose enough fit in the seat. I know I am contradicting the previous comment, but for me, the fit is awesome.

Extra Belt loops are not just needed for smaller sizes, but larger sizes as well. I think those of us that are big ol boys need the extra support.

Either add more belt loops or add a "tunnel" like baseball pants have for the belt to run through.

Personally, I don't like the 'Belt tunnel' but that's just me
