Make Online Advancment for Cubs pack friendly
It would be great if every unit in a district or council would be 100% online Advancement. The current system does help Cub Packs because they can't add belt loops and arrow points. I know that its not advancement but important to all the boys and packs. If the online advancement had a section where packs could record and keep track of the data for belt loops and arrow points then they would be more willing to sign up for online advacement.

This is a big issue with our Packs not using Internet Advancement. It would be great if this could get implemented as soon as possible. It would also give them a shopping list for their visit to the Scout Shop.

I agree. And we should ensure our official Scout software is better or at least as useful to volunteers as the 3rd party software that is now available, or at least make them more compatible with one another. It seems we often produce a resource with our needs in mind, and then wonder why we can't get people to use it. If it also addressed their advancement tracking needs in a more complete and user friendly, in addition to collecting the data we want, we would have volunteers clammering to use it.

I am over advancement in our area and I have heard that comment from many Cub Scout leaders.

This needs to be fixed. It may not be "advancement" but it is important to the boys and leaders. Adding belt loops and arrow points will greatly improve the online advancement useage by the volunteers.

If the tracking details could be included in online advancement then I believe more packs would use this tool. The way it is now, the pack or Den Leaders need to use 2 tools which takes extra time and effort. If the tracking details are added to the online advancement tool then I suggest the detail portion be made optional for those that don't need it. This would make sense for both sides.
