Scouting Magazine for transfer adults
When a leader transfers his primary registration to another unit his Scouting subscription ends because he no longer has a fully paid registration. Why deprive our hard working volunteers of this valuable resource because they have a transfer registration?

I think we need feedback from National Registration Service on this concern.

My understanding is that a transfer membership is considered as "fully paid" as the previous paid membership, and that there is no magazine discontinuation. If, on the other hand, there is a "glitch" in the system, then it should be fixed.

The nice ladies in the National Registration Service are the ones who informed me of this when I called about a volunteer who had suddenly stopped getting his Scouting magazine. This was probably 2-3 years ago. I recently had a volunteer who came in and made the same comment about his Scouting magazine. When I checked his record, sure enough he was a transfer.
