ProSpeak Notification
Can the ProSpeak editor mass e-mail all professionals monthly when a new edition is posted online? Now that it is no longer coming in paper, I am trying to hunt it down. Now did I write down that link?

For the life of me I can't remember where it is stored either. A search of MyBSA comes up with nothing.

Found it. Oddly enough the search engine didn't turn up ProSpeak video which is under Resources, and you can get to ProSpeak from that point.

The link through prospeak video (or via info.netbsa.org) is for the April editon. Has anyone found May, June or July?

Quite honestly I think the dicontinuation of a printed Prospeak is a bad move.

With the move to an online version I see prospeak becoming a less usefule tool. The same argument against going to an only online version of Scouting could be applied to Prospeak.

Not every USE will take the time to read it electronically. A hard copy could be carried in a partfolio and read while waiting for a meeting or appointment to begin.

An electronic version is not as usefule to share and review with the staff during a staff meeting.

Please reconsider the discontinuation of the printed version of ProSpeak.

I agree that the publication should continue to be sent out in a printed format. It is a valuable use of time to read this and share with volunteers while between meetings. It is also nice to have it to refer back to. It is difficult to find the time during the day to fully read and appreciate any online publication. Sites like Yahoo are so successful (and convenient for a Scouter) with their news as they give highlights only - will our online version be similar with the daily updates to make it worth checking out regularly?. I would like more in depth coverage available on a timetable that fits my schedule better. Thanks for reconsidering.

ProSpeak is not only useful for the Pro's. We would have a copy left in the lunch room and many of the support staff found the informations useful to know. If it is only for the Pro's to read online, are we using all of our tools to work as a team?
