Video / Web Broadcast of National Meetings
Warning In Progress
The BSA should simulcast selected portions of National and Regional meetings. After returning from the Annual Meeting in Orlando it occured to me that there were a number of volunteers that would benefit from seeing any of the general, large gatherings. Could we simulcast these selected large gatherings on the web for volunteers and staff that are unable to attend the meeting.

As resources become available more training for both employees and volunteers will be accessible on-line. It should be pointed out though, that events such as national meetings provide tremendous networking value in addition to training

Our council uses Webex for volunteer and staff meetings at the council office. People call into the phone conference, but can see the meeting room's computer screen or webcam.

'Future meetings via web and Teleseminars. Online access available later for those not able to make the meeting. After our last meeting, this would have worked great for SE's, it would help serve the smaller councils without the travel budget.' authored by User innovideas was merged with this idea.
