Webelos Uniform change
Remove the plaid from the Webelos uniform. Follow the lead of the Centennial Boy Scout uniform and go for a more subtle and muted look. The uniform should be something that a 4th or 5th grade boy wants to wear to emulate older boys. Older boys don't wear plaid hats or plaid neckerchiefs.

It wasn't that long ago that the Webelos still wore Cub Scout blue until crossover. I've never heard any complaints about the plaid neckerchiefs. The plaid does stand them out from Boy Scouts for a good reason... Webelos are not Boy Scouts. Keep it the way that it is and let's not reinvent the wheel for a situation that may or may not exist.

Most Webelos Scouts that I know really like the Webelos neckerchief. It makes them stand out and different from the other youth in Cub Scouts. Also many of our boy scouts want the red back in the boy scout uniforms they don't really care for the green military type uniforms.

The Webelos plaid is Blue & Gold(yellow) and Red & Green. It's symbolic of the transition from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. This makes Webelos Scouts special, something that most 4th- and 5th-graders need very much. Let's build on that, not remove it.

The only thing I hear the youth don't like is the "Elmer Fudd" Hat. Maybe, we could just change that.
